Claudia de Breij (13 March 1975) is a Dutch cabaret artist, presenter, singer and radio DJ. During her studies in the mid-nineties, de Breij contributed to programmes at Stadsomroep Utrecht, after which she was picked up by regional radio stations Radio M and Radio West. From the launch of public broadcaster BNN in 1997, she presented the programme BNN United on Radio 1. In March 2002, she moved to NPS, where she made the programme ...& this is Claudia on 3FM. In 2003, she started working for VARA and presented the 3FM programme Claudia d'r op (until 2007). In 2004, de Breij was a DJ in the 'Glazen Huis' for the Serious Request campaign.
In 2016, she was the first female cabaret artist whose New Year's Eve conference was broadcast live on television. It was watched by 2.5 million viewers. In her 2019 New Year's Eve conference, broadcast from the Royal Theatre in The Hague, she devoted much attention to the subject of democracy. The performance is seen as a new highlight in her career.
The opening song from the show Hete Vrede, 'Mag Ik Dan Bij Jou', gained great fame through various television appearances and ranks high in the Top 2000.
